You explained how you changed your keyboard layout from English to Deutsch.Please my question is – My Asus Eee PC 900 is in Deutsch and I want to change it to English,do I have to apply the same system you used above and will the language of the operating system change authomatically from Deutsch to English after the application.Thanks and I a looking forward to your answers.

I think I need a little more information to help you changing the keyboard layout.
My description tells you how to change the keyboard layout with the given Xandros Linux system from Asus.
So if you want to use a English keyboard layout you have t apt-get the en or uk version.
Currently I run a Gentoo Linux system on my Asus Eee 900 PC.
So in Gentoo I have to emerge the keyboard program. Today, in KDE4 this is not a big issue.
Can you tell me which operating system you use?
Then I can try to give you a better description how to change the keyboard layout.
